Buzz 12 in 12: Busting a 1989 Upper Deck baseball pack (Hour 2)

What's Buzz-worthy: We've busted High Series packs of this landmark release here in the past, but we felt it was time to rip a standard pack with two more chances to pull a Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie Card instead of a pack that included two cards from the high-numbers. This is an iconic brand in many ways — printing, packaging, Rookie Cards, design — but this pack was closer to average value-wise with a few memorable names from the era. The Griffey RC was not to be found this time and neither was any of the other notable newcomers. If you want one bad, you should just grab a graded Griffey or pick off some of the key singles over on COMC.com. But this classic is worth an occasional pack rip just for fun as long as packs aren't too expensive. (I don't think I'd pay more than this given a pack like this can be the occasional result.
