One of the highest-graded copies of one of a wrestling icon's first cards has hit eBay and is already putting on a show.

It's the 1982 Wrestling All-Star Series A card of Hulk Hogan, and it's a card from an iconic set that was available via mail order three years before the first WWF (now WWE) cards arrived in packs from Topps.

Is it a Rookie Card? Is it not a Rookie Card? Doesn't really matter, brother, as it's already a big deal on eBay.

Topps has made UFC cards for nearly a decade, but the arrival of its first Chrome set is one that packs some intentional surprise punch -- and maybe other surprises.

While 2017 Topps Chrome UFC guarantees two autographs per box as well as Hot Boxes with extra ink and Diamond Boxes in every case, but at least one breaker has reported finding a lot more extra ink.

There will be 48 common cards, 20 Rares, 14 Super Rares, 10 Ultra Rares and eight Secret Rares in this release. ... Packs carry a suggested retail price of $3.99.

"The Raging Bull" has died.

Jake LaMotta, a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame after a lengthy career that included an 83-19-4 record, was 95 years old. He famously fought -- and defeated -- Sugar Ray Robinson in 1942 and his memoir inspired Martin Scorsese’s 1980 film Raging Bull where he was played by Robert DeNiro.

Despite boxing not having a regularly occurring trading card presence, LaMotta could be found in a number of sets throughout the years.

Game-used memorabilia from one of baseball's greatest sluggers is hitting the auction block next month.

SCP Auctions will be handling the sale of several items from Mel Ott, a Hall of Famer who hit 511 home runs and led the National League in long balls six times during a 22-year career -- all with the New York Giants.

“It’s our pleasure to auction off these items from Mel Ott’s family,” says SCP Auctions President David Kohler. “He truly was a baseball treasure and we look forward to seeing how the bidding goes.”

He's had a long road to MLB but he's here -- and at the moment he's under the radar and hot.

He's Oakland A's rookie first baseman Matt Olson and he's got 11 home runs in his last 15 games -- 22 for the year. Olson, 23, was a first-round pick of the A's way back in 2012 and he's delivering so far with a .267 average and all those longballs in just 172 at-bats this season.

That long road? It's even longer when it comes to cardboard.
