These wicked shadow lords boast immeasurable power, but demand heavy Tribute from any Duelist who seeks to wield it." The Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair "holds no hint of compassion or mercy, not even for cards that have yet to be played," while Lilith, Lady of Lament has the Grinning Grave Virus. "This Virus requires the Tribute of a Dark monster to activate, then unleashes a deadly epidemic on your opponent’s hand and Deck," according to Konami. ... There will be 36 common cards, three Super Rare cards, two Ultra Rare cards, one Token Card, one beginner's guide and game mat per deck. ... The XFL will return in 2020 -- but it won't be like the short-lived football league from 2001.

The call to the Hall also means new baseball cards via Topps Now. 

Two of the new members of the Baseball Hall of Fame voted in on Wednesday are signing cards for Topps' real-time card program and two others voted in via the Modern Era committee will be inking up, too.

Jim Thome, Chipper Jones, Jack Morris and Alan Trammell also will all have standard cards printed to order after a 24-hour window.

Some who ripped into Topps' recent Transcendent Party VIP packs found a bit more than they had expected.

They found stamped cards with identical serial-numbering in some cases -- multiple 1/1s of the same card, for example -- and Topps has issued a list noting what the actual production volumes are for the cards found inside the packs.

A Super Bowl LI ring issued to a member of Tom Brady's family is up for grabs right now via Goldin Auctions.

The size 10.5 world champions ring weighs 77.3 grams and is identical to the one issued to the quarterback who led his New England Patriots to a shocking come-from-behind overtime victory against the Atlanta Falcons a year ago. It's a 10 karat white-gold ring with 260 diamonds worked into the design.

It's believed to be the first ring or award tied to Brady to be hit the open market, and bidding opened at $20,000 -- and there's already action with the bidding.

Just like on football cards, everybody's attention seemed to be on Tom Brady Sunday evening in Gillette Stadium.

Now part of that was due to the drama about the gash on his hand held shut by some stitches, but we all know that the drama of him and the New England Patriots potentially reaching another Super Bowl and possibly getting a record-by-himself sixth Super Bowl ring was a big deal, too.

That Super Bowl trip is happening with a 24-20 come-from-behind victory, and that's because of two fourth-quarter touchdown catches from Danny Amendola, who might have the toughest Rookie Card to find of all the Patriots.
