We're about a week away from the arrival of 2018 Topps Heritage, which gives us a trip back to 1969 this season and that means one thing -- a peek at the checklist.

We'll start with the autographs and there will be a mix of past and present names signing for this one, including a number of rookies.

Among the standard autos? Hall of Famers Carl Yastrzemski, Al Kaline, Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, Orlando Cepeda, Jim Palmer, Lou Brock, Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew, Steve Carlton and Reggie Jackson, who will also have Rookie Card buyback autos in these packs with his RC coming back in 1969.

A trio of autographs from a tech icon are on the auction block and the potential demand -- and the estimated values -- might surprise you.

The signer? Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who by many accounts wasn't interesting in signing autographs. The former CEO and chairman helped bring the Apple Mac, iPod and iPhones to life along with plenty of other iconic gadgets before he died at age 56 in 2011.

“Identifying Jobs as a reluctant signer is a major understatement,” said Steve Sloan, vice president of PSA/DNA, which authenticated all three pieces in an upcoming RR Auction sale. “And for us to be able to authenticate three of his signatures inside of a month is truly a rarity.”

Prince Akeem and Semmi are coming to American toy stores soon -- and they're not alone.

Eddie Murphy's 1988 classic Coming to America is the latest past film to get Pop! treatment from Funko as teased by the company at Toy Fair New York.

The Coming to America Funko Pop! collection will include five toys for this first wave -- toys of Akeem and Semmi in their royal costumes, Akeem while working at McDowell's (a Target-exclusive figure), a golden version of Akeem in his royal clothes and, last but not least, Randy Watson in his blue tuxedo, which will be a Funko Shop-only find.

And they'll be joined by several other casts in the toy section this year.

The Legends of Tomorrow are coming to card packs tomorrow -- well, at least sometime soon after that.

Scheduled to arrive sometime in the second quarter of this year, Cryptozoic has been building its roster of signers for 2018 DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Seasons 1-2 set, which is up to 26 different cards for 19 signers.

The biggest comic book in history is on the auction block -- and there's already plenty of bidding action.

Bidding action on Action Comics No. 1? Shocker.

This CGC Conserved 7.0 copy of Superman's debut from June 1938 is pushing $300,000 with two weeks to go on the auction block over at ComicLink -- and the reserve isn't even yet met.

In fact, according to the auctioneers, "the Overstreet Price Guide lists this issue in 7.0 Universal condition for $855,000 but today would likely sell for well over $1 million. At this point, even a low-grade Universal (2.0-3.0) example would ballpark at about $500,000. With a bright look, largely unblemished images, straight edges and minimal corner wear, this is the most attractive Action Comics No. 1 example that a collector will find at this price."

The first jersey that Boston Red Sox Andrew Benintendi wore for his first official game commanded big money on the auction block over the weekend, reinforcing that last year's Rookie of the Year crop went deeper than just that one New York Yankees guy.

This jersey sold for $14,730 after 19 bids via Goldin Auctions after opening at just $1,000 -- and that was enough to make one wonder if there might be more action to come for the cards of the ROY runner-up in his sophomore season.

The author of one of the most-dominating seasons in Dodgers history will be doing a little more writing soon.

He's former Brooklyn Dodgers ace Don Newcombe and he's got a public autograph signing set for March 4 at Cardboard Legends in Van Nuys, Calif.

In 1956, he went 27-7 with a 3.06 ERA en route to MVP and Cy Young award honors -- and that was the year after he helped Brooklyn to a World Series title, downing the New York Yankees in seven games. He made his big-league debut back in 1949 at age 23, going 17-8 with a 3.17 ERA before he was named the NL Rookie of the Year. He retired after the 1960 season with a 149-90 record and a 3.56 ERA.

For just the second time ever, the No. 3 Chevy is in Victory Lane after the Daytona 500.

Austin Dillon's second career victory in NASCAR's top series came at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday night after he bumped Aric Almirola into the wall on the final lap, winning on the only lap he led of the evening.

The last time the No. 3 was a winner at the track in the top series was when Dale Earnhardt won the race for the first and only time in his legendary career driving for owner Richard Childress, who is Dillon's grandfather.
