Who's in your new box of baseball cards? This book knows -- and it might end up in your hands with an order from us this weekend.

The box is, of course, 2024 Bowman Draft and it's set to arrive next week and the annual prospecting staple is always the home of the top young names in MLB's ranks. As part of the action on this popular hobby-only release, Baseball America and BlowoutCards.com have teamed up to potentially give buyers a little more in their prospecting stash.

How's that? We will be giving away copies of the 2025 Baseball America Prospect Handbook to random customers shopping on our site this weekend.

The Handbook is a comprehensive look at the best in MiLB as it presents the top 30 names for all 30 franchises and is packed with all you need to know as part of a 500-plus page package. Collectors love lists -- whether it's a checklist, a hot list, a stat sheet, sales stats or prospect rankings -- and in some cases what's on those lists is an easy sign of who's next. Or, it's somebody who's already on the radar of many but should be a name you know if you don't.

It's BBWAA Awards Week for Major League Baseball and one of the most-notable winners made his way into my game-used collection this year ... well, sort of.

This month's ball in the Collecting Game-used series is another that came to me via a blind grab bag where all I knew was the date of the game ... but this time that wasn't to my advantage as, well, the baseballs pitched by the now-reigning National League Rookie Of The Year, Paul Skenes, command a 15x premium price over the rest of baseballs from this day and this game. Despite that, I rolled the dice, hoping for a possible inventory error or something interesting from what was still a Skenes start ... and I got just that.
