A League of Their Own Funko Pop! toys arrive soon

There's no crying in baseball ... but there will be Funko Pop! toys.

A League of Their Own -- Penny Marshall's 1992 landmark film about the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League -- will have its first Funko toys soon.

Just two toys make up this first wave as teased by the Everett, Wash.-based company on Monday.

Rockford Peaches catcher Dottie Hinson, as played by Geena Davis, and manager Jimmy Dugan, as played by Tom Hanks, get the nod in this first batch of toys featuring the film.

The film made more than $130 million at the box office and it has a presence not only in the National Film Registry but also at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y. The cast included Lori Petty, Madonna, Rosie O'Donnell among the team's members.
