Anthony Fauci's first pitch gets bobblehead from Foco

It was nowhere near the strike zone, but it sparked a Topps Now baseball card sales record and spawned a bobblehead doll.

Dr. Anthony Fauci's first pitch of the season was jussssst a bit outside and will get a new premium bobble from FOCO that's set to arrive in mid-November.

"They say doctors make the worst patients, but we say they make the best bobbleheads," reads the company's description for the piece. "Adding this Dr. Anthony Fauci Washington Nationals first pitch bobblehead to your collection is just what the doctor ordered."

Each piece will be eight inches tall and cost $40 direct from the company. It's also fully licensed by MLB so Fauci's Nationals World Series Champions mask, jersey and cap are all accurate just as when the ball was in his hand.

His appearance on a Topps Now baseball card set an all-time sales record in just 24 hours with more than 51,000 copies sold.
