Update: Riley has been on fire since his arrival with seven homers and 20 RBI in his first 14 games, hitting .375 (21-for-56) for the second-place Braves.

The newest Atlanta Braves rookie to watch is here -- and he homered in his big-league debut.
He's outfielder/third baseman Austin Riley and he went 1-for-3 with a home run in his first game last night, a solo shot in just his second at-bat during a 4-0 win over the Cardinals.
Baseball America ranked him as the No. 22 prospect in baseball entering this season and he had torn things up at Triple-A Gwinnett, hitting .299 with 10 doubles, 15 homers and 39 RBI in 37 games this season.
Unlike a number of big-name prospects, Riley doesn't appear on a ton of cardboard, which could be a key if he continues with a torrid pace at the plate as a big-leaguer this season. He has just under 450 different cards since his debut in 2014. His certified autographs make up roughly a third of those cards.
That first year, his autographs can be found on 2014 Leaf Metal Draft cards as well as Leaf Trinity and Leaf Valiant. His first MLB prospect cards can be found in 2015 Bowman Draft where he's also got his 2014 Under Armour All-American auto card (/225). Beyond that one in 2015, he's got Leaf Metal Draft, Leaf Trinity, Elite Extra Editon, Panini Contenders and Leaf Ultimate Draft autos. For 2016 autos, he's got cards in Topps Pro Debut, Topps Heritage Minor League and Bowman Chrome -- and those were his only autos until last year when he was in Contenders Draft Picks and Elite Extra Edition only. He hasn't had any autos since.
Update: Topps released a rainbow of Topps Now autographs on Thursday afternoon to highlight his debut.
On eBay, his ink seems modest among completed auctions is modest for a big-name prospect (a high of $2,700 for a BGS 9.5 Orange Refractor from 2015) but asking prices are now pretty strong for rarer graded copies of his 2015 Bowman Chrome Draft card.
