Auction Buzz: Ballers props & wardrobe that could be yours

An auction of props and wardrobe pieces from HBO's hit show Ballers is entering its final week via Heritage Auctions and there are a number of interesting items that will end up in collectors' hands on Sunday.

A number of items were used by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as well as other cast members from the series that ran five seasons. Auction proceeds will benefit the Know Your Rights Camp. So far, a number of the items are dirt-cheap but action should pick up by the time things are over -- nearly 500 different items up for grabs.

Keep reading for a quick look at a few of the pieces on the auction block.

MEMORY-MAKER
The Item: Spencer Strasmore's high school jersey framed from his office
The Price: $76 after nine bids (five days remaining on all)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Sure, it's not really a gamer, but this is The Rock's character's framed jersey (no glass, though ... the glare) that according to the listing is "ultimate office prop." I don't know about that, but it's at least got the name on it to make it a little less anonymous of a piece and it should be photo-matchable to a scene somewhere, too. There are a handful of jerseys in the auction but this one is arguably the best ... and that is dirt cheap right now considering it's a display piece.

THAT PHOTO WILL NEVER DIE
The Item: Spencer Strasmore custom skateboard deck
The Price: $160 after eight bids 
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This real-life photo of The Rock rocking a fanny pack, big hair and a turtleneck years ago is a meme of legendary proportions out there in the Interwebs and it was part of a Season 4 storyline where Strasmore went into business with Lance (Russell Brand). Based on the price so far, there's definite interest here. There's a lot of Lance stuff in the auction for those Brand collectors out there.

REMEMBER ... IT'S A PROPS AUCTION 
The Item: Ricky's steroid kit with carrying case
The Price: $1 opening bid
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: "Ricky Jerret's prop steroid kit with black carrying case, syringes and steroid bottles can be seen in Season 4. Prop only. Not intended for use." That's how the auction listing reads for this one. It's weird, but so are a lot of props out there in the movie-collecting world. One of the main characters, there are a number of pieces for Jerret in this one -- but this might just be the weirdest. (Well, at least the weirdest for him.)

MEMORIES ... 
The Item: Charles' desk photograph of Spencer, Ricky and Charles
The Price: $5 after three bids
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This simple framed photo apparently is from Season 5 of the series and it's got three of the main characters in one spot. There are wardrobe items to be found in the auction (they will cost more) but they don't quite have the charm of a piece showing characters that can possibly be seen in the background of scenes. (That or I'm bargain-hunting with this pick.)

MONSTER JAM!
The Item: Spencer Strasmore's Monster Jam racing suit & helmet
The Price: $145 after eight bids
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is an Alliance Race Wear custom-made suit for Johnson with helmet for an episode where you can easily see it in action with other promo pics out there, too. If that's not your thing, a number of his suits, jackets, sunglasses and shoes are also up for grabs -- more than 120 lots for "Spencer" alone -- but they won't be as easily photo-matched as this. Heck, I just photo-matched it for you.

TWO WORLDS COLLIDE?
The Item: Vernon's White And Black Air Jordan Retro 12s
The Price: $105 after nine bids
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: There's no doubt that a lot of people out there collect Jordans worn by players on the court, but what about on TV? These were Vernon Littlefield's shoes worn throughout Season 5 and he's among the main characters so that has to count for something, right?
