Black Friday Wave 4 -- here are five deals to consider

If you hadn't noticed, our fourth wave of Black Friday boxes with discounted prices have dropped right now right here as BlowoutCards.com is bringing a wave approach to today's sales.

There's one more wave of discounted boxes to come later in today's big sale ... so keep watching.

Here are five boxes/cases that caught this collector’s eye in this wave.

2017 Panini Chronicles baseball hobby box
Sure, the two Chronicles releases since this one pack a lot more oomph, but the rookie crop in Chronicles is one that includes some notables with some selling power -- Cody Bellinger, Aaron Judge, Andrew Benintendi and Alex Bregman for example. They can be found on a number of signed cards in this one and a number of different "brands" all in one place. The 2017 boxes aren't as crazy of a rip as this year or last year but when there's a pretty decent box discount this is the time to try for something big. You get four hits and eight numbered cards per box here and a lot of low-volume cards have some hefty prices even if not inked based on one recent search I made. There also can be some oldschool memorabilia finds here for the likes of Mickey Mantle and Harmon Killebrew, giving it a scope that's beyond just rookies.

2015 Topps Chrome Update MLB mega box
Mega boxes are a big deal these days because they have been jam-packed and are loaded with Rookie Cards as a retail-exclusive standalone product -- but back when this one arrived you only got a couple packs of the new stuff along with some more Topps Update cardboard. That limited volume here meant a little more work to land what you were looking for and the 2015 set does have some highlights in there. Byron Buxton, Noah Syndergaard, Carlos Correa, Kris Bryant, Francisco Lindor, Joc Pederson and Ichiro Suzuki are just some of the highlights here and there are Gold and Black Refractors in the mix along with Relics and Auto Relics. Your most-notable ink here? Mike Trout, Jose Altuve, Buster Posey and Jacob deGrom.

2018 Topps U.S. Winter Olympic & Paralympic Team Hopefuls hobby box
These boxes aren't the standard stuff and that's a good thing if you're ripping because a number of the signers here don't have ink anywhere else -- so that can pay off in some instances, though that doesn't matter as much when the price gets so cheap. You get three hits per box here (and maybe more in some instances) with signers that include Chloe Kim, Lindsey Vonn, Bode Miller, Adam Rippon, Brian Boitano, Johnny Weir, Kristi Yamaguchi and Michelle Kwan among others. There are some low-volume autos here and then parallels, too, as well as other inclusions that help make it a fun break.

2018-19 Panini NBA Hoops blaster 20-box case lot
Remember when I mentioned this year's Hoops and grabbing Rookie Cards in bulk to slab up? Well, this is one of those cases, too, with Luka Doncic and Trae Young both having a presence here. You get a hit in every box -- and ink is possible -- and there are cards only found in this format that can also do pretty well if the right rookie name is attached. If you break to slab and sell, this is one that's worth a definite look -- or if you like the fundamentals like Tim Duncan in the paint, well, this is a big one for you, too.

2017 Topps Star Wars: The Last Jedi 12-box hobby case
This one is a case special in the big sale and it's a pretty good volume of boxes for the price -- and two hits in every box. I don't think I ripped into this one beyond some retail, but it's a release that packs plenty of visuals from the past film but not a lot of spoilers. Among the possible autos here include Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Anthony Daniels and Daisy Ridley so there's some star power with some luck. Cheap case price means it's time to try it, especially with a new movie coming.
