Black Friday Wave 5 -- here are five deals to consider

If you hadn't noticed, our fifth wave of Black Friday boxes with discounted prices just dropped right now right here as BlowoutCards.com is bringing a wave approach to today's sales.

Here are five boxes/cases that caught this collector’s eye in this wave.

2017 Panini Crown Royale NFL retail premium box
This wave might be the strongest of them all if you ask me and this box's potential is one big reason why I say that. Back when I opened my only box of this one, I landed a Christian McCaffrey Platinum Rookie Card parallel -- a big deal this season -- but that's not the biggest rookie here ... you have a shot at Patrick Mahomes RCs and their parallels as well as ink and memorabilia cards. You get two hits per box here -- one auto, one mem -- and the strong rookie crop makes it a no-brainer at a price not dramatically higher than it was back when it arrived. It's not the flashiest design, but it's got some good potential.

2013 Panini Prizm Perennial Draft Picks baseball hobby box
These boxes deliver an absolute brick of cardboard in volume and they can deliver big, too, with ink and parallels possible for guys like Carlos Correa, Jose Abreu, Mookie Betts, Max Muncy, Kris Bryant and Aaron Judge among others. You get four autos per box and any of those names will get you a good chunk of that back if not everything and more if you find them. The base set here is meaty though you don't get a lot of inserts in comparison. At this price, it's a no-brainer to rip into and you can grab as many as six in the big sale.

2015 Topps Field Access NFL hobby box
You get an autograph per pack here in a brand that has a very Stadium Club feel. Let me rattle off a few names with ink here to start ... Amari Cooper, Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson, Barry Sanders, Eli Manning, Jerry Rice, Len Dawson, LaDainian Tomlinson, Mark Ingram, Mike Singletary, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Eric Dickerson, Emmitt Smith, John Elway, Todd Gurley, Johnny Manziel, Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, Dan Marino, Tony Romo, Jimmy Garoppolo ... and many others. But do I need to go on? Yes, big names will be tougher ... but they are in there and somebody has to land them.

2014 Panini Country Music trading cards hobby box
These hobby boxes have finally started to dry up a bit, meaning slightly higher prices, but they are still bargain breaks with some huge potential if you land one of a few names. The retail cases are also dirt-cheap in the big sale and can deliver some rare ink (everything is basically limited to 25 copies there) in their meaty 24-pack boxes, but these boxes are hit-driven single packs with four per box with some big potential. (Click here.) It's not my genre, but I've busted a ton of these. After going the retail route recently, I like the safety in the hobby boxes -- you can land as many as three autos in four packs and that's all I landed in my retail case, albeit all premium cards. (Look for a break of that here next week.) Either format is good for the price, though -- it' just depends whether you're chasing hits or want some basic cardboard, too. There's a big volume difference in the formats there.

2015 Topps UFC Chronicles six-box hobby case
You get five hits per box here and a boatload of cardboard. I recently ripped a box -- click here to see what it included and get some more thoughts -- and I'm probably ripping one of these cases at this price. Landing one of the notable autos in this one might pay for everything at this price, too. These huge packs include a ton of cardboard and they protect the inserts in the middle of them well -- I had a few cards that I might submit for grading as they were that clean. And I'm not even a big UFC fan -- it's easy to be a fan of dirt-cheap rips, though.
