Black November arrives … here are five Wave 4 deals to grab

If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices right now right here as Blowout Cards' Black November sales have arrived this year.

The fourth wave is here and many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz once again had to ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five that caught this collector’s eye ... and there's far more that just might suit your tastes in the big sale.

NOW'S THE TIME ...
2022 Panini Prizm WWE wrestling cards hobby boxes
This one is an important release for wrestling card collectors since it was the first Panini America WWE set and it's one that is absolutely loaded with actual Rookie Cards for a bunch of new NXT 2.0 and NXT UK stars who didn't have any previous cardboard at all as well as most of the biggest names of the past and present -- all in one spot, all on one checklist and all with rainbows of parallels. Throw in autographs and a boatload of color and inserts and there's big potential here. The Prizm investor crowd here certainly pumped these up big-time as there is big potential here the rarest stuff ... but the box prices have dropped heavily since release. Why? There's supply for everything available here -- for now -- and that volume of singles, parallels (a deep rainbow on every card and plenty of retail and hobby boxes, too) couldn't keep up with the volume of buyers if you take away the flippers. It remains the same solid release that it was when the boxes were three times the price ... but now it's a more reasonable rip. If you land big stuff you're probably still OK -- maybe more ahead vs. the past -- but if you're a collector this might be closer to the price point where it's more do-able.

PACKED WITH PLENTY ...
2019 Donruss WNBA basketball cards
Two autographs per box is a key here. Why? It's got a good ink checklist that includes Brittney Griner, Candace Parker, Rebecca Lobo, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Elena Delle Donne, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Sue Bird, Nancy Lieberman, Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie and a ton of other past and present players. Some of those players had past ink but the boxes or sets those came from are long gone and long ripped, meaning the prices on the best ones are not low. Truth be told, some here aren't, either, but the boxes still exist giving you a shot to find them. This isn't a standard Donruss release, either, as it has Optic cards in the mix ... something that the Prizm collectors might like but not realize they're in there. For the rip and flippers, there are possibilities here and for collectors there's a lot to find, too. They aren't the biggest boxes -- four packs -- but they are 30 cards per, giving you a good mix of inserts and stuff to find. Here's what a past Buzz Break of mine looked like.

A FOCUSED CHECKLIST
2020 Topps Women of Star Wars trading cards 
I'm perhaps biased here after landing a solid A+ first box that included ink (assured) and then a really nice sketch (before the dismissal) but I think the potential is still here to try this one as the focused checklist -- nothing but the women of the long-running sci-fi franchise -- and it's got highlights. Ink for Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Felicity Jones, Gina Carano, Laura Dern, Sarah Michelle Gellar and a ton of others are in this one. (Also dual- and triple-auto cards.) That depth might not help but there could be less of everything else here, too, as it's a hobby-only release.

RIP 'EM IN BULK ...
2022 Bowman University football cards 20-box blaster lot
The odds here aren't the greatest for autographs but they are in there and they may be delivering better names at times than even hobby boxes. The Superfractor auto for reigning Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young was allegedly found in a blaster and there are others who have been found here, too. Guys playing on Saturdays now as well as Sundays -- that NIL inclusion on Chrome stock (they aren't heavy volume here but you get more than one Chrome card per pack) also helps out a ton. For best results, I'd go the 20-box lot route. Blasters are also the home to some exclusive Chrome colors. Prices on a lot of 'em aren't big -- NFL stuff still wins -- but a strong guy auto here where he's not yet drafted might surprise you until they do.

COLLECT THE INK ...
2013 Donruss Elite Extra Edition baseball cards
The calendar has turned over a few times since this one arrived so a lot of the prospects are aren't as prospective but there are a number of established names you can find if you want to chase autographs with some volume without breaking the bank. You get six autos per box in this one and there are four boxes per 20-box case that are Hot Boxes with 10 signed cards inside. Win or lose player-wise that's still fun to open. Among the signers? Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, Kris Bryant, Austin Meadows, Tim Anderson, Andrew Vaughn (USA), Miguel Sano, Jose Abreu and Jack Flaherty (USA). There are a ton of parallel and varying hit types here, too, which could add value to lesser names. It's a deep, deep signers list but imagine finding a Judge auto at that box price? That would be fun.
