If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices right now right here as the new wave of Blowout Cards' Black November sales is here
Many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz once again had to ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five that caught this collector’s eye ... and there's far more that just might suit your tastes in the big sale.

MY SAFE PICK
2015 Topps Football factory set (Retail)
There's plenty to find in this set -- you get everybody -- but there's one basic card inside that's a Rookie Card (but not noted as one) with a lot of attention. It's the Pat McAfee Rookie Card. The NFL punter turned media mogul turned WWE commentator turned ESPN talker and now a full-on brand for that empire. I'm not a big fan but he doesn't have a boatload of cardboard and this is the home of the RC. It didn't get a RC logo as he had some medallion-looking insert the year before and then this one -- they weren't thinking about RCs for veteran punters -- but it's still a RC. Each set comes with some variations for rookies, a bonus hit and everything. When it's on sale, that's the time to grab ... it's a safe pick but there's still a little variety with that bonus hit.
Keep reading for a few more boxes you should consider (and are likely to end up in Buzz's cart).
AN ARRAY OF OPTIONS ... AND THIS ISN'T EVEN ALL OF THEM
Bulk lots of Topps T206 baseball cards
This wave has a bunch of these options in there and including all waves there are 17 options out there for you to explore and dabble with if you're a fan of Topps' revisited version of the T206 tobacco cards of more than a century ago. There are variations, back parallels in play for all of them and autographs (albeit longer odds) in all, too. (To scout the 2020 waves, click here. To scout the 2021 waves, click here. To scout the 2022 waves, click here.) Stars of the past and present are spread out here in almost all of them and there's always one wave that's MiLB names and looks only ... I busted that one a lot in 2020 just for fun. Here's a sample break of that. Busting 20 boxes at a time is perhaps your best bet at landing the rarer stuff so it's really just a matter of checking out each wave's checklist to see what works for you.

A COLLECTOR PRODUCT ... WITH A LOT TO FIND
2022 Topps Stadium Club Baseball Blaster 20 Box Lot
Poke around here in the archives and you'll see I busted a lot of these and there's a reason ... it's one for collectors. There are colorful (and also some simple) parallels in play with subtle changes on strong photo showcases, plenty of other inserts and then stuff like die-cut cards, Chromes and, yes, autographs (check out this break) and they flow pretty well, too, compared to a lot of retail where they may not even exist at all. Cases of these are a meaty 40 boxes -- and my gut feel is that might be a bit much for somebody buying for more fun reasons than rip and flip -- but these lots are a more-manageable 20 boxes when on sale.

AN AUTOGAPH IN EVERY PACK
2022 SAGE Hit Low Series Football Hobby Box or Case
Want ink in every pack you rip? This is one way to do it -- 16 autos per box or 256 autos per case -- and it's a release that is nothing but younger football stars ... and there are some names you'll know here, too. Tommy Devito, Emmitt Smith, Romeo Doubs, Chris Olave, Desmond Ridder, Bailey Zappe and Sauce Gardner are in there for autos for starters and there's a lot more if you're a fan of the college ranks. These are perhaps not for everybody -- I'd probably go with the box to dabble -- since there's a lot of college stuff out there these days but a lot of them with traditional packs don't cough up the ink every time. At this price, I'd do the dabbling rip ... while the next box is one that's solely ink with even more big-name talent attached.

BIG-NAME POTENTIAL ... WITHOUT THE BIG PRICE
2021 Leaf Memories College Football Box & Case
There are no packs here -- just seven signed cards in a box -- but they're on a mix of looks from early 1990s baseball sets from Leaf but with college draft picks and some NIL players in there, too. Bryce Young autos two years before his rookie ink is in there, for example, along with C.J. Stroud, Mac Jones, Trevor Lawrence, Anthony Richardson, Brian Robinson, Chris Olave, DeVonta Smith, Kenneth Walker, Taulia Tagovailoa, Frank Gore Jr., Micah Parsons, Desmond Ridder and even that promising prospect of decades ago, Joe Montana. There are parallels in play atop the deep checklist, so some boxes will deliver better than others but in this case it's nothing but ink. At this price per card, it's worth the look. I'd probably just dabble with a box but a case should give you a better shot at landing a few of those notables.

There's plenty more among the Black November sale items -- check 'em out here -- and we'll have several more to come leading up to Black Friday.
