BuySportsCards.com launches as new online marketplace

Card collectors now have another online marketplace to consider for their buying and selling.

BuySportsCards.com officially launched earlier this month and it's "a specialized marketplace focused on making it as easy as possible to buy and sell sports cards," according to its founder and CEO Conner Walden. So far, the site includes sections for all major sports as well as sections for misc. sports and even multi-sport releases. The site has 0% seller fees right now, which is likely to continue through the first half of the year or potentially longer.

Walden is a 25-year-old entrepreneur who also owns a card shop in St. Louis and he created BSC because he said he "believes collectors, dealers and local card stores deserve a better experience when buying and selling sports cards online."

The site includes data for approximately 14 million cards with images for nearly half of those right now.

"BSC neatly organizes listings so buyers can sort and compare the cards they are looking for," Walden said. "BSC also utilizes its large database to simplify the process of selling. By having the data points on nearly every sports card ever made, BSC can pre-populate the information into your listing which allows sellers to list cards in 30 seconds or less."
