What's Buzz-worthy: Yeah, a case ... hard to pass these up when they were priced what they were at back in December -- and they're not that bad now, either. (See that link above.) ... The base cards, which use the 1986 Topps baseball design for the stars of the WWE's past and present, delivered with remarkable consistency just as the standard inserts did the last time I did one of these. There are no autographs in these boxes -- not that big of a deal for the current price -- and this base set is one of the best WWE sets ever made with the strong photography of past and present stars perfectly working here along with a simple array of inserts and parallels. The printing quality also is far better than that of 1986 Topps -- and there are no wax stains here, either. The quality of this set alone keeps these cases from being a bummer if the hits don't deliver well for you. Had these boxes included occasional signed Relics -- a move that Topps has turned in years since -- it might be an untouchable case and a perfect buy to hunt big cards on the cheap. This was a fun rip despite this one delivering fewer actual hits -- more patch cards this time -- but I did land a few better names and a printing plate.
