What's Buzz-worthy: This year's blasters deliver fewer inserts than last year (five this year, eight last year) but it didn't feel like a lackluster box though this one was a definitely less flashy than our first one. The Chromes are one in every three blasters, a good find here, but the rookie presence was a sliver of the last box. That one had 11 RCs including Shohei Ohtani. This one? Three -- and not big ones -- though it made up for it with a number of veteran and retired stars. ... A hobby box will get you two autos and a bunch of base, while blasters will perhaps help you finish off a set and give you an auto one in every 14 boxes (one per case). There are a number of interesting inserts to be found that weren't in this one so that's another reason to dig in on hobby boxes. There wasn't really much damage in this box compared to last time -- that's good -- but if you're a big fan of this brand hit the hobby boxes for ink. They aren't all big signers, but there are some crazy things to be found in hobby. We'll bust one of those here soon.
