Buzz 12 in 12: Busting a 1982 Fleer baseball cards cello pack (Hour 8)

Autographs/Memorabilia: None

What's Buzz-worthy: A Von Hayes Rookie Card atop a cello pack might have worked for a Phillies fan at some point in the distant past, but it gets shredded here in the quest for a Cal Ripken Jr. RC or maybe an ultra-rare John Littlefield error card. We did land a slightly important card that isn't an RC here -- Tim Raines' first Fleer card -- but that's about it. For the price, it didn't sting that bad, but the awful centering on even the Raines card equals bummer. This set includes some fun errors and variations to chase being the Littlefield reversed-negative with "All Hrabosky," four versions of a Darrell Jackson card where his cap changes colors due to some pre-Photoshop negative work and a weird Lee Smith RC error where the Cubs logo on the card back is printed backwards. None of them were found here, though, leaving us with Tim Raines and Von Hayes as highlights for this one. Raines may make it above average but it didn't feel like it.
