What's Buzz-worthy: Buzz busted a ton of these back in the day -- USA Baseball was one of my must-rips for the money for a few years around this timeframe -- but this box, while it included a few guys who are in MLB and even a guy who's a pro in Japan, shows that this year has a player crop that hasn't aged all that well, though. (That's a bummer.) I found this one for less than $40 (pretty low) and it seemed like a deal because some of these sets can deliver very well with patch cards, multi-player autos and nice cards that can deliver better than that even if not a big name. The biggest name here at this point is Eric Hosmer, but the only card I found for him was his card in the base set. There are bigger years before and after this one for USA Baseball, but I couldn't help busting this one for the price considering you get seven autos, a couple more hits and a set. This box was a bummer now but USA Baseball boxed sets can be a great rip as long as you don't pay too much.
