What's Buzz-worthy: The first two packs I opened in this one included Kris Bryant memorabilia cards -- what a start -- and it delivered pretty well after that with nothing but MLB players for five of the six hits and the one who isn't is a son of a Hall of Famer who's playing at Double-A in the Blue Jays organization. ... The base set of this one is loaded with past greats in USA Baseball history and is complete at 123 cards -- Nos. 107 and 124 were not found in this box as they do not exist -- and the Certified cards are meant to be a short-print capper to those with the then-current players there. This was the first USA release to be found in wax packs and it includes plenty of high-end finds such as bat knobs, flag patches and other premium creations that you'll find more easily in low-end USA sets than in other releases. This one isn't that pricey for wax or singles but you can find autographs for a number of big names, including Kris Bryant, Corey Seager, Mark McGwire, Roger Clemens and many others. At its current sale price, it's a solid rip -- and it's pretty good even when it's not dirt cheap.
