Autographs/Memorabilia: None ... but this one would have been amazing with an ink chase.

What's Buzz-worthy: The gallery of this one will make you think this one is solely Hall of Famers but it's not -- it's mostly all Hall of Famers but with some others from the past. This set is a nod to the 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders set that pairs end cards that carry a T205 design and place them around an image in the middle. Here, they do that with some single-player cards (one panel a nod to the Baseball Assistance Team organization that helps past players in need) and then some combos. They are roughly 2.5 by 5.25 inches and are scored so they can be folded if one wanted to display them that way (that wouldn't help conditions). On some cards here, there's a fantasy grouping of legends from artist Todd Reigle and the outer cards change around them as you work through the set. (They aren't errors or variations as the card numbers change.) The only inserts here are 10 reprints  of original Hassan cards and I landed five of them. Had this one had some autographs in the mix? Well, the boxes wouldn't exist today. I found the one for not much more than $1 a pack and it's been years since I last ripped into one. What will I do with it? Perhaps I pick a favorite and grade one (maybe, the fee would be higher since they are larger) or more likely I throw them in a binder along with my stars from years ago. It's a fun set and it's got some non-Hall of Famer surprises like Mark "The Bird" Fidrych, Dave Dravecky and Curt Flood to go with a few lesser names with fun or interesting photos as well as an over-loaded Cooperstown crop. It's not that fun of a box to bust but it's a pretty solid set once you get everything together.
