What's Buzz-worthy: This one isn't expensive but it's a meat-and-potatoes kind of set -- you get a bunch of stuff in a box here and this one shows that they can even over-deliver.  They are advertised as one auto and three memorabilia cards per box and this one included an extra. The rookie presence here is limited -- more toward the inserts and that's about it -- while the base set is stacked with big-name veterans with extra cards for award-winners. The set has a real Prestige/Threads feel, while the insert array is limited. The hits side includes a number of different auto and mem card possibilities that also have prime components. With some luck you can land big-name ink from guys like Steph Curry, Steve Nash, Carmelo Anthony, James Harden, John Wall, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and others -- but many in low volume. As you can see by serial-numbering here on my hits, there are a lot of cards between those bigs, though. The black foil on the standard cards is a bit rough here but you can still tell who it is and the card backs have a good traditional feel. If you want a standard kind of set for a beginner or like things simple and cheap with some potential, this is one to revisit.
