What's Buzz-worthy: I found a few of these for regular price ($15) which I considered to be a solid price since the potential for Patrick Mahomes Rookie Cards or jersey cards alone would pay for more than a box if found ... what I didn't expect to find in this go-to break -- something that puts it in the first spot of today's marathon -- is that there are autographed cards also possible here. In the middle of my pack wasn't some Mahomes RC or other notable I had been hoping for but instead an autograph from a collector who was the singer of a metal band who made the Fans of The Game set. Topping that was a Chiefs rookie -- no, not that one -- on the mem card that almost made me drop the back when I saw the logo on the back and a pretty solid mix of stars on base and inserts. This is a pretty solid A+ box if you consider the price and the insert for Christian McCaffrey (also a rookie here) doesn't hurt. ... As said before, I graded this product a B based on my earliest looks at the brand but the loaded small-format boxes like this one have made it easily among my favorites of that year and it's probably one that has aged well -- an A release compared to others at this point. (But that's my original product grade below.) If you somehow find 2017 or 2018 Donruss out in the wild, they are always worth the look. If not, hit the link up top for some options.
