What's Buzz-worthy: Want to go volume on the basic guys here with a shot at the big stuff (it's rare in all formats) but also with shots at the standard inserts? This tray shows you why this format can deliver -- at least if the collation isn't perfect. In the case of these RCs, I'll take it -- but I would have preferred dupes for Ronald Acuña Jr. ... As said last time I ripped into a tray of these, autographs aren't guaranteed in every hobby box and they're one in 126 packs here so I wouldn't expect it but it is possible. The Chromes over-delivered here as did some of the inserts but I didn't really land any big names among those -- even my SPs ran a little repetitive but at least I landed a future Hall of Famer. You can also find many of the fun variations in these packs -- the odds aren't easy -- but it's a solid way to end a tribute to MLB in 1969 after a very strong start. Hobby boxes are the way to go with this one with their better odds and guaranteed inclusions but this is a product that can deliver. This one isn't quite as flashy or loaded as 2018 Topps Update -- that one has far more appearances for key newcomers and more parallels -- but this one can deliver big but just not as easily. Could this still-available brand be the next one to blow up? Maybe, though perhaps not as big -- it's a different kind of release ... but I'd love to get my hands on a mini parallel of that Acuña.
