What's Buzz-worthy: It's been a while since I ripped into a jumbo box of flagship Topps, but the Vladdy SP rookie got me to bite and I was rewarded with a lot of other stuff -- including three short-printed variations instead of just two -- but no Vladdy. The numbered parallels over-delivered here and I even landed ink in my bonus packs so that gets this box an A+ though it could be topped. Even my auto and manufactured Relic were parallel versions and not standard ones. There are some surprises in this series with a deep insert lineup though it's all mostly on-field stuff and some of the surprises weren't found in this box. All in all the results here had me feeling a lot better about the flagship this year though I'm still not feeling aspects of the design. The overall inclusions trump that, though, and it's on par with a number of recent releases. I definitely like this format for this series -- it delivered far more than my Series 1 hobby box. Check the odds here and it's a pretty good one.
