What's Buzz-worthy: My first one of these delivered with a couple of notable rookie WRs on parallels while this one, well, it delivered in the same precise volumes but without a top name in the mix if you ask me. That past box (Jeudy and Lamb highlights) got an A but this one pretty much feels like an average one that perhaps could have some future potential with the rookies. Walmart boxes are the home of Purple Shock (Target has Pink) which isn't my favorite color here ... but Purple color is better than no color at all. I prefer the blasters with hits -- those have been a staple for me since 2017 but they may not be arriving as the megas are a hit per this year. Tweaks to formulas are likely to be expected post-COVID and with so many just clearing shelves no matter what is in them. ... The rookie crop may not have scorched as much as was (unreasonably) expected this past year, but there is still a boatload of potential ... remember That Mahomes Guy didn't play much as a rookie. Optic (and Donruss) has been a go-to brand for me for basic football collecting in recent years and it will be hard to not go there more ... if I can.
