From time to time, Buzz will break a box of something and post the results here. Like this and want to see more? Or maybe there's a box you'd want to see busted? Send Buzz an email at BlowoutBuzz@blowoutcards.com.

What's Buzz-worthy: This is another oddball test-issue from Topps that happened twice in the 1980s -- this 1985 set and once again in 1986. They're approximately 6-by-4 cards that are printed on a light plastic stock with Action Packed-style embossing that's nearly a quarter of an inch tall in some cases but not made in the same way as the later AP cards were embossed, folded and glued shut. Meanwhile, the embossing on this Raines is more pronounced for his head and shoulders with it tapering down the card and the backs are blank with adhesive strips that help you attach them to a wall or other surface. (Storage is a huge issue here.) The entire 30-card set can be seen in the gallery below -- they're really not that rare at all for 1985, while 1986s aren't quite as plentiful but can still be found in singles and box form. The big rarity to look for with the Topps 3-D line? The 1985 WWF cards -- that's just a 12-card set -- are way harder to find and a three-card lot recently sold for $140 on eBay. The only box I've ever seen has a $3,600 price tag attached. I've never seen those in-person but these MLB ones are available and out there ... if you know they even exist.
Product Grade: A (it gets an A for being weird for the time)
Pack Grade: A- (Hall of Famer)
Fun Grade: B (just one card)
