What's Buzz-worthy: Don't let the pack price here fool you -- the crop of 1987 baseball card sets is a strong one that's made plenty of money for plenty of people over the years and Fleer is right there among the best. It's a tough call as to which is my favorite between Fleer, Topps and Donruss but this one has a design that's appealing as long as you can avoid the dreaded printing spots and miscuts. This particular pack delivered pretty well with a Hall of Famer Rookie Card -- and arguably his best RC -- along with a handful of other Hall of Famers. The young stars who were big at this time -- Barry Bonds, Bo Jackson, Jose Canseco, Will Clark and so many others -- weren't here, but at $2 a cello pack this is one to dig into for fun from time to time. Even the lesser RCs here -- Kevin Mitchell, Wally Joyner, Ruben Sierra and John Kruk for example -- carry a certain feel that you can't escape if you collected at the time. Every time I bust one of these, I keep telling myself I need to rip more.
