What's Buzz-worthy: Another dip into my rack pack stash -- about $1.40 a pack -- here for a #TBT break yielded a few Hall of Famers and a bunch of Rookie Cards who are basically commons ... but also a Barry Bonds, which is arguably one of the best cards in the set. That gets this pack an A, though it's not quite the card it used to be in the eyes of many and in the eBay completed ranks. ... These 36-year-old packs aren't rare -- stuff was made by the truckload for months -- but it's still good for what it is -- or as a reminder that the card world has changed a lot since then. Back then Topps basically put out one main set a year and then an update to it and various smaller boxed sets here and there for the year. That meant plenty of these got made between wax packs, rack packs, cello packs, jumbo packs, vending boxes and factory sets. You can pretty much still find it in all of those formats unopened.
