What's Buzz-worthy: There are reasons to rip into these boxes from nearly 30 years ago as there are immensely rare autographed cards to be found -- they're all signed on the backs of standard cards with a gold Star Pics foil sticker placed atop part of the auto. Signers in this one include Chris Farley, Al Franken, Phil Hartman, Mike Myers, Tim Meadows, Ellen Cleghorn, Kevin Nealon, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Julia Sweeney and even band leader G.E. Smith, so it's not a shabby list. With that come fakes so your best bet is to perhaps rip into some wax (with low expectations as they are rare). I did that here figuring, well, at least I'll get a set ... wrong. Welcome to 1990s collation as I came up one Toonces cards short of a set and four other cards eluded me for a second ... meanwhile I ended up with as many as five copies of some cards. No biggie as nothing here is super-pricey and ultimately I went here to maybe consider some cheap for-fun slabs ... though some singles here have A-listers shown or mock notables that could carry some value as raw cards here and there. See who you remember and can spot in the gallery. This series could be due for a modern-day set if the licensing money would line up for the series -- and there are countless possibilities between cast members, hosts and musical guests but it's probably not likely as all of those big names would mean big money to sign ... if they wanted to sign at all. This set comes at one of the peaks of the show if you ask me and it includes a lot of cards for those who were on the cast then as well as stars from before that time.
