What's Buzz-worthy: This box quickly came and went in the store as older WWE wax, while not that pricey, isn't always the easiest find. I managed to land a dual-auto card (one in 55 packs) and a Relic of a top name along with a one-per-box rarity in the Black parallel that's limited to only 40 copies. The lineup here is a simple one and there are only a few parallels to be found -- Gold, Black, Platinum (1/1) -- for either base or inserts. There are some rarer hits also to be found here -- signed ring mat Relics and sketch cards with drawings from WWE stars, including Jerry "The King" Lawler who has penned comic books and had his wrestler illustrations get him into the industry many years ago. What makes this set nice? The mix of highlight cards from WrestleMania 25 -- a strong event -- alongside the standard cards from the entire roster at the time. The insert sets here are the weak link, especially with dark borders and skinny stock, but I'll take this box on the cheap any time I can find it. (That's easier said than done.) There are some early card appearances for stars here, too, with debuts (Rookie Cards!) for Nikki and Brie Bella as well as Santina Marella -- can't forget her, err him, err ... it's an only card appearance. WWE sets were a little simpler back then so they are always worth a look as those boxes just aren't found easily that often.
