What's Buzz-worthy: It's literally somehow been years since I last opened a box of Signature Series -- back in 2020! -- and that's in part because with an autograph in every pack (most years but not all ... some didn't use packs) that means there's a natural limit on the box volume, too. In this case, only 499 cases were made and all these years later a lot of this one has been opened, making boxes tougher finds. Why? Well, with autos and more possible there's still a shot a something rarer in there atop some bigger names that have popped up in pop culture before and after this one arrived. You get a parallel in every box and then there are a few other chases such as prop memorabilia cards (one in six boxes), bikini mem cards (one in 12), hair cards (one in 60 boxes or five cases) and, of course, all the ink. I found this one arguably cheaper than it could have been and cheaper than other years so I bit since it's also a year I have not opened. (Some years got so cheap I could have landed a good chunk of a case for even this price but a lot of that stuff was ripped long ago and can't be found now.) Are there money-maker autos here? Maybe, with names you'd perhaps know from wrestling, TV shows, reality series, ad campaigns, modeling, social media and even some news headlines over the years. Some of the notables on the checklist not seen in this box? Torrie Wilson, April Scott, Lena Yada, Bobbi Billard, Katarina Van Derham, Tina Jordan and Mia St. John. It's a big checklist of signers ... and they're all in there to some degree. If the boxes are cheap enough, the volume of what's found can, at times make for a win ... I just rip to amass autos on the cheap. There are not that many 10-auto boxes out there for well under $100 these days like there used to be, and the base set -- not necessarily something you'll find in newer releases -- can't be completed with only one box.
