What's Buzz-worthy: You get a dozen packs in these blasters, which makes it a lot easier to help build a set -- it's possible you could do it with just two boxes -- but the real possible big highlights here are autographs and memorabilia cards. KISS Kuts are embedded autos with memorabilia swatches on the same card, while Rock Star Relics are standard memorabilia cards and KISSignatures are autographs. They're all in theory found here but there are no odds on packaging. What you can assure yourself of by ripping into these is a colorful and non-traditional base set that uses plenty of art -- on both fronts and backs -- to tell the story of the band. The set is made to be placed in pages as some card backs combine to create larger images while others merely take on a new chapter in the story of the band. Inserts here are lean -- a black-and-white version of the cards called Proof Editions that are found three per blaster and Pop-up cards that can be folded into a three-dimensional look at the members of the band. That's about it. KISS has a lot of cardboard in the past and this one is an affordable option. Hobby boxes from Press Pass' run with the license is are harder to find, so retail boxes like these are one of only a few options. A bulk buy in the big sale (20-box lot) is probably your easiest way to have a reasonable chance at hits here.
