What's Buzz-worthy: The last time I found one of these, the hit pack was loaded with names who are probably known elsewhere in pop culture -- ink and hits from WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson, Attack of the Show's Sara Underwood and Kerri Kasem who some might remember alongside Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx on the Sixx Sense. This time? Some names BenchWarmer fans probably know but not anybody with wider appeal. But the standard box this time? It was an upgrade and delivered well -- an A+ box on its own based on the odds and names inside. The box statistically should have only had a pair of autographs but it also included a third auto (perhaps in every Canada box but I don't see anything noting that) as well as a Kiss Card (one in 108), a MOVIE insert (one in 72) and then the standard stuff. Kendra Wilkinson is a name you might know from reality TV, while the others are perhaps known here and elsewhere to a lesser degree. The 2004 box is loaded with names who you might know from TV -- Baywatch, its short-lived spoof Son of the Beach, WWE, and other series and a sampling of the base set is below along with the inserts and hits. Why rip into BenchWarmer boxes? The hit volume for the price is typically pretty good and the occasional bigger name will pay for a decent chunk of everything. Most newer boxes are hits-only releases, too.
