What's Buzz-worthy: I landed a pair of these go-to boxes on the cheap as wax in pretty much all other directions has been tougher finds of late at certain price points -- even BenchWarmer boxes are on the rise -- and this one presented a leaner package of interior contents with the Holiday set instead of a box with packs but it delivered quite well with the ink. Sara Underwood autos aren't always all that expensive but she's one of the better names to land here while April Scott and Michelle Baena are of note. Meanwhile, a kiss card from that set is one in four boxes ... and this is a better name there value-wise as her cheapest cards of this type on eBay are around $25. So, all in all, it's an A+ box ... but not the flashiest one you can find. So what's the deal with these? Vault boxes include a past box (from before 2012) as well as a pack of bonus hits and a promo card -- a revisiting of past releases all in one spot. In some cases, these can really over-deliver on the autograph front more than one might expect (but not always), while the bonus hits also can have some big names in play. (I've opened a few of these as Buzz Breaks and you'll know some names in others.) Hits in these boxes, really all boxes of BW, can vary ... some can pay for a box or a good chunk of it while others are just a buck or two. But, the overall hit volume for these boxes is pretty good so one can build an autograph collection of something a little different in the big picture without paying a boatload for a box. With so many types of boxes getting steeper in price, I have been dabbling more in this realm of the non-sports world a little more than in the past.
