What's Buzz-worthy: I often buy boxes in pairs and this one comes on the heels of a Buzz 8 in 8 marathon break box I ripped into literally a couple years ago. (Look for a new one on Monday ... with my newer boxes there instead of appearing here on a slow Friday.) This series was a one-and-done creation and it's got a lot of solid touches on card fronts and decent info at times on the card backs, but its wrapper details aren't that plentiful and the website that did have info is long gone. Autographs? Well, some of the notables in here signed but it seems that a checklist for those never materialized or it disappeared with the site, which through its contest cards promised shots at a 2012 Camaro, concert tickets, backstage passes, Rolex watches and even cash for winners. New waves of these card were planned every few months -- and this one had a strong retail presence at like $5-6 a pack in Walmarts -- but they never came. My first box of this one didn't include a Snoop ... but this one had two -- and it appears that the Nipsey Hussle cards here have sold for $30-50 on eBay -- so I guess I'm OK here as two boxes cost me around $30 if I remember correctly. Some have actually gotten $15 per pack here on eBay ... so I should have grabbed more with the ink possibilites -- I went 2-for-2 on autos -- but I can't say I know either of the signers I landed or a good number of those on the checklist. Just not my genre but I thought these were very solid visually and generally I think music sets are under-done in the collecting world ... licensing and fees have to be a challenge.
