What's Buzz-worthy: It's been a while since I opened one of these, but since there are some long-odds biggies to be found here for MLB players of today and since these are cheaper than some retail boxes out there now -- with far more here on the hits front -- I bit. I did a pair of them and this one was the first, fresh off the truck this morning, packing one card that kind of shows the potential of these boxes. That Conforto auto would have been a big one during his Mets run as he was an MLB All-Star, though he's having a respectable 2023 season on the West Coast as a Giant now. The rest was closer to the norm but it still had some rarer finds and names who had MLB experience among the hits -- and there was an extra hit this time -- while the best names (who are also found on hits) are in the base set gallery below. It's not the richest crop of USA Baseball years but a solid card of a good name could/should pay for a box here at current prices. I'll rip my other box of this on July 4 ... unless I run out of other options on some slow days. It also had some decent finds but nothing as big as the inscriptions auto in this one.

Fun Grade: B+ (it's a set with some hits ... so it's a fast rip)
