What's Buzz-worthy: I picked off a case of these in the big sale -- they're still there, hit that link up top -- as, well, the volume is beyond safe with a lot of MLB names in play here ... and a lot who didn't make it, too. Each box includes nine hits (autographs/memorabilia) and some included more. Thankfully, the best names all made appearances here for ink save for maybe one but he's one whose presence is likely on the decline anyway. This one felt slightly light on patch and other "advanced" cards but I'll admit I hadn't ripped this one in as much as other years to know how often they fall. At the sale price, this was an A+ case -- a win with potential for it to even be topped. ... It's not the richest crop of USA Baseball years but a solid card of a good name could/should pay for boxes here at current prices and one rarer card of a better name might pay for the case. In fact, there's one name here -- just 25 autos total -- who could easily pay for a case (or more). Who is it? Cross-check the Japanese auto set names to the Boston Red Sox roster. Appearances from Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, Alex Bregman, Andrew Vaughn, Matt Chapman and Jack Flaherty worked for me this time.

Case Grade: A+ (almost all key MLB names here made appearances on autos)
Fun Grade: B+ (it's a fast rip and a lot of names might not be known as well now a decade later)
