What's Buzz-worthy: Wouldn't it be nice to own an autograph from some of The Beach Boys? It's possible in these boxes and that sale price right now is No. 1 with a bullet. (It really can't get any lower.) It's also possible to land a pair of clothing cards from members, too, and that's just what was found here along with a complete set and a serious chunk of inserts and parallels that keep the collecting challenge going for a few boxes. A simple Surfer Foil stamp is found for every base card and insert and that adds to a collecting challenge that includes a number of insert sets and some diecuts and etched cards that make this a well-designed complete package of collectable fun. Just like the Panini Country release, this music isn't Buzz's type but well-produced cardboard is. It also doesn't hurt that the autographs (roughly two per case that I have seen) will pay for a good chunk of a case at current prices. The autograph checklist includes 25 cards and ink for Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnson and David Marks. All cards are limited to 65 or 70 copies. There are also 1/1 parallel autos along with a few inserts that weren't found here -- printing plates, button cards for the Concert Gear memorabilia cards (big money) and Artist Proof parallels across the board. All in all, this break (at its current price) gave me some good vibrations and I'm confident that fans of the band would have fun, fun, fun tearing into these boxes at any price.
