What's Buzz-worthy: I typically buy boxes in pairs and my last one was a legendary box thanks to a few autos. This one? Not quite as strong but still having plenty of stuff packed inside. As I mentioned last time, with all of the BenchWarmer boxes in the big sale, I recently figured I'd watch some breaks to figure out what the various releases included ... but I couldn't settle on one. So then I wondered about a previously super-cheap go-to box -- this one -- that delivers big volume and big potential as it's a new pack of hits and promos and then a boatload of past packs from various releases all in one spot. These are nowhere near as cheap as they used to be -- two or three times as much out there. For this one, I landed fewer hits and definitely didn't land the two or three big names I had last time. The big in this one? It might be the Traci Bingham (Baywatch) auto with a big, bold sig thanks to it being a horizontal card. (Her autos aren't as plentiful as I remembered in the past so they're pricier than I remembered, too.) A number of the other signers here have modeling and smaller acting credits -- heck, one of the autos is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader -- but my two promo cards of Sara Underwood (a $25 sale on eBay) and Christy Hemme probably have a lot more star power behind them. (The mem cards here can sell pretty well, too, including this one.) Including the promos, this was a pretty strong box. Based on just the hits? More of a B-level box. These boxes, which are essentially a repack with 60 past packs along with a new cards made specifically for this release, include a minimum of eight hits -- if you go hitless in the other packs -- but can deliver a ton more. I've ripped better boxes but the key cards here are ones I haven't seen before, so it's still a win.
