What’s Buzz-worthy: I don't do much hockey -- barely any, actually -- but the simplicity of this one is what drew me in after eyeing a box for years. Why? Well, these are mixers of sorts with past cards presented with Vault foil-stamping indicating that they all came from this one -- a repack made up of the remaining backstock of In The Game hockey cards from after it closed down and sold its inventory and properties to Leaf Trading Cards. The boxes can also include previously unreleased cards (an extra card when you find) but most are stamped cards -- five 1/1 memorabilia cards, four autos and a Masked Men card that can have /5 and 1/1 versions. The variety and oldschool mix here -- and the idea of a notable name on a 1/1 -- got me to bite. Since I don't really collect hockey, it's all new to me here with decent hit volume and without a price tag that's too steep. Most cards from these boxes aren't all that pricey and I knew that going in but I recognized more than half of the names and a couple of them are Hall of Famers.
