What's Buzz-worthy: This super-cheap product's super-simple approach, distinctly retro stock (no gloss, almost-pulpy paper) and simple design are things that I found oddly appealing and surprising when I opened this handful of packs. I hadn't opened this one before because it was a near-hitless retail release in a sport I don't actively collect, but this approach was so comfortable I think it would be something I'd dig into elsewhere if attempted. Autographs are one in 288 packs here and inserts generally are not easy (other than the one-per-pack parallels) being found every 21st, 36th, 40th (and even higher) pack odds. Is there a lot of financial demand for cards like these? Probably not in our hits-focused era, but there is some appeal for a product being one that can be collected on the cheap -- both singles and packs/boxes.
