What's Buzz-worthy: I passed on this one back when it arrived, though I'll admit it was tempting with a huge checklist of more than 600 players involved -- the player collector in me absolutely wanted to pull my guy from a pack or box -- but I passed. All these years later, I'm a bit glad I did as this one just didn't feel like it delivered all that well ... even at a price well under $10. Why? That big checklist means your odds of finding any one top guy are tougher and combine that with almost a decade since arrival names like Yasiel Puig, Brandon Phillips and Andrew McCutchen just don't resonate like they did back then. My one parallel card here was Edwin Encarnacion -- a guy who has put up numbers but it hasn't really been seen in his card numbers -- but I did get a good laugh out of finding a blank Emergency Pitcher card ... so maybe I can count this as my guy who did pitch in an MLB game once. (Though, really, we all know this is a Brett Phillips card.) I think over time there could be interest in the cards of top guys here but these boxes -- and there were booster packs, too -- have yet to dry up despite being so cheap. I think I landed my guy back in the day but I actually never realized there were the Lightning cards until now ... I know I don't have that. Perhaps, I'll need to hunt more.
