What's Buzz-worthy: Bowman Chrome is one of those brands that the prospectors dig into hard while the rest of us with a little more patience to wait for players to arrive sit back and marvel. Box after box gets shredded and this box showed glimpses as to why with a rarer Refractor prospect auto, some parallels among the inserts and a number of standard inserts to help bolster the package. Prices may seem a bit soft on these boxes right now with the perception that the auto checklist isn't very deep, but all it will take to reverse that will be one or two big names to arrive beyond the bigness that is Vladimir Guerrero Jr. right now. The rookie auto lineup isn't bad, either, with the likes of Corey Seager and Luis Severino in the mix along with others that are of interest here and there. Overall, this new mini-box format helps assure more people a secured shot at an autograph (there's one auto in every mini), with the vending boxes being a way to land even more ink. All in all, this box was above average but still quick.
