What's Buzz-worthy: This release is loaded with Rookie Cards and had some long-shot big, big potential with an autograph checklist that is stacked with big but rare ink for some key signers so I took a new shot. I didn't land a big-auto box, but I demolished the odds here with a Black Chrome (one in 321 packs), a team name color swap (one in 89) and my one-per-box Action variation was the American League Rookie of the Year, though he's not a money guy. The crop of SPs here wasn't bad, either, with most of them being Rookie Cards of some decent names but none are big-money now. (Would have been solid back then.) You can see some of the ink and other premium hits here (earlier in the Buzz years) and all of the variations. Some of them could surprise you value-wise if you land them. This was a very good box from a release that hasn't aged well -- that A- is its original grade -- but it's one that, with luck, can pay off huge.
