What's Buzz-worthy: You ever have a single base card where you want to land a clean, near-perfect copy for grading but one of the variables from design, stock, packaging just won't let that happen? That's in part one thing that led me to rip one of these boxes -- and then a few more -- and be surprised by how they deliver. The odds aren't good -- at least on the wrapper -- for hits here, but out of a handful of boxes I had just one fail to deliver either an autograph, a Relic or a commemorative medallion card. And some of my boxes had more than one. This box included a Gold parallel (/10) to make a good box even better -- an A+ based on the odds. ... This is a highlights set and that immediately creates a few challenges on how these cards might be received by collectors but there are a ton of moments captured here from a time were NXT might have been at its character-developing peak with an influx of new talent just breaking into the top ranks of WWE and getting a good look on cardboard here. That one card I was looking for grading-wise? The Bayley card you see up top that's actually a Four Horsewomen of NXT moment -- and that's just one moment that makes for some good cardboard here. The only drawback? Thin stock and black borders -- they can easily come out of packs with minor tweaks that can derail your Gem Mint 10 dreams. Check out the gallery -- there are a lot of good highlights here and you might argue that it's a stronger collection of moments leading up to that year's WrestleMania that are stronger than we've seen in the ring recently. This old box is worth a look -- for both the moments and the inclusions at a price that's not that far off of $1 a pack. Oh, and on the autograph checklist -- on-card ink here -- are some tough autos, including Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper, John Cena, Sting, Pat Patterson, Michael Hayes, Bayley, Kevin Von Erich, Gerald Brisco, Charlotte, Dory Funk Jr., Terry Funk, Lana, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Ric Flair. The ink lineup is loaded with past and present bigs -- and they can be found here, too.

Product Grade: A- (it's highlights set ... but there are plenty of good highlights here)
