What's Buzz-worthy: With a big week on tap for WWE, I figured I'd rip a cheap box that can deliver pretty well -- and it did. The ring card is one in 768 packs, while Shirt Relics are not guaranteed in a box at one in 116. Meanwhile, this is not the first time I've had one of these boxes deliver. ... As said last time, if you poked around in the wrestling section of the site, you may have noticed a number of retail boxes up for grabs at about $1 a pack. And, as you can see here, that could be the right kind of price as they can deliver hits -- and sometimes more than one type as this one did. On the wrapper, the odds aren't good, but out of a handful of boxes I had just one fail to deliver either an autograph, a Relic or a commemorative medallion card. (And more than one of them delivered like this one.) ... This is a highlights set and that immediately creates a few challenges on how these cards might be received by collectors, but there are a ton of moments captured here from a time were NXT might have been at its character-developing peak with an influx of new talent just breaking into the top ranks of WWE and getting a good look on cardboard here. The only drawback? Thin stock and black borders -- they can easily come out of packs with minor tweaks that can derail your Gem Mint 10 dreams if you're crazy enough to slab key moments -- I am. Autographs are possible here -- and they are on-card sigs -- with a list that includes Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper, John Cena, Sting, Pat Patterson, Michael Hayes, Bayley, Kevin Von Erich, Gerald Brisco, Charlotte, Dory Funk Jr., Terry Funk, Lana, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Ric Flair. While no hits are guaranteed, I have found stuff here far more than when I have not. Meanwhile, that Stratus probably pays for the box and maybe more this time.
