What's Buzz-worthy: The popular Contenders line hits the hardwood with a number of inserts -- seemingly a lot more than for football -- and these blasters guarantee an autograph or memorabilia card every time. This particular box included a number of top names across the base and inserts, making it a relatively satisfying rip. About the only drawback here is the lack of any stats on the card backs, which this collector feels is more needed than the blurbs that are used. The Game Ticket parallels are exclusive to blasters as are the memorabilia cards, which should help their value a bit over time as many collectors will take to hobby first, though its market price is strong right now. (That might make some try a group of blasters instead.) You get a good chunk of the base set in a blaster, too.
