What's Buzz-worthy: This seemed like a curious one at retail with the hanger boxes including 60 cards -- more shots at Rookie Cards in my mind -- vs. just 40 in blasters that didn't appear to guarantee any type of hits. That non-guarantee made me go this direction and the Rookie Card front and inserts didn't look bad. The base card stars here weren't bad either, considering it's a 200-card set. The design here is familiar to other Prestige releases but feels solid while also showcasing some strong photos. If you're looking for something simpler with an array of inserts, this is definitely one to consider -- don't let that Wheaties-box homage scare you off. This is a set with a traditional feel but plenty more to it, too. The Orange Micro-etch Rookies are only found here and I think I found a decent one. Another plus? A lot of the rookies have action photos for this release -- another plus that makes this set work.
