What's Buzz-worthy: This is easily one of the most-unique products of the year based on its color palette alone, but when it's in tandem with foilboard it works. It may not work for everyone -- in hobby these are boxes with an autograph per box and that's it for hits -- but it's definitely different than the rest. There are autographs to be found in these hanger boxes, too, but the odds aren't given -- just eight inserts per box. Four of those are typically going to be the parallels with extra green in the design that are somehow known as Foundations. If you pull a big-name rookie, you'll pay for your box (these are around $10 depending on the store; $12.99 for this one at Toys R Us). This one? It didn't seem to wow me on that parallel or RC front, but maybe somebody will emerge. This box is probably closer to average but it feels like something different and the Factions inserts offered some name power to me, enough to make it a B box. Yours will probably be stronger -- and you'll find at least eight RCs and then possible parallels atop those that will give you plenty of shots at a winner.
