What's Buzz-worthy: This one is an interesting surprise that you might overlook at Target stores if you're hunting certain mainstays right now. These are definitely worth a look, though there's still some mystery as there's not a checklist for this one yet available. The formula is simple -- two packs with one including three standard-sized cards and then one 5-by-7 jumbo memorabilia card. The regular packs include one veteran base card, one parallel and one Rookie Card. The jumbo memorabilia cards have standard versions for veterans and rookies (separate sets in terms of their prefixes on the lettering/numbering on backs) with patch versions and variations that appear to carry massive memorabilia swatches like on the rookie you see here. (Standard rookies appear to have the smaller swatch like the veteran card seen here.) Veteran prime cards are 1/1s, while prime rookies are limited to five copies. There don't appear to be any autographs in this one, either, further amplifying its Threads focus. The basic set consists of 60 veterans and 40 Rookie Cards and those rookies should carry some decent value as they're not going to be easy pulls here unless someone busts in volume. The parallels also could have the same appeal. The non-traditional format here is one that should make the value of these interesting and there's definitely some added appeal for some huge memorabilia cards -- at least once one figures out how to store them. The design is also one that could allow for in-person autographs if someone wanted to take on that challenge with the memorabilia cards. Among notables on memorabilia cards on eBay from this one so far include Donovan Mitchell, Markelle Fultz, Larry Bird, Jayson Tatum, Shaquille O'Neal, Lonzo Ball, Kobe Bryant, Andrew Wiggins, Dirk Nowitzki, Dennis Smith Jr., Grant Hill, Karl-Anthony Towns and Kevin Garnett to name a few. This one looks like it will be fun with some high-end potential here and there considering its initial bargain price.
